The SFAR (French Society of Anesthesia and Intensive Care) is a nonprofit organization under the French Law of 1901, recognized as being of public interest. Its mission is to promote the study, advancement, and teaching of anesthesia, intensive care, and perioperative medicine. It organizes an annual conference to bring its members together for lectures and workshops.
